Aunt Lile's Tomato Soup Cake

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 egg
1 can tomato soup
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 scant T water

Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add soup. Sift in dry ingredients. Add water.

Pour in 9x9 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Try to find the least "tinny"-tasting soup you can, without basil or any other seasonings.
