1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon

2 sticks melted butter
2 beaten eggs
2 cups sugar
6 medium or 4 large apples, thinly sliced
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Grease bottom of a 9x13 pan. Mix butter, eggs and sugar together. Add spices and salt to flour. Mix into sugar and egg mixture. Fold in apple slices. Spread into pan and sprinkly with nuts, if desired.

Bake at 375 for 45-55 minutes.
